The compensating double uses a system of shared tubing to make the instrument lighter than a full double. The Paxman Academy has long been a favourite in the compensating horn market. Ideal for the beginner or intermediate student who would benefit from a lighter instrument.This instrument is in good condition but the valves do require a small amount of servicing so please do contact us before visiting the shop. Comes complete with case and two mouthpieces, one of which is a Paxman 4B.
