John Packer JP021 Bb Clarinet
The JP021 is a reliable and full sounding Bb clarinet perfect for first time players and those new to playing the clarinet. This instrument is a successful mainstay of the JP hire scheme and has helped thousands of young players start their musical journey on the clarinet. It has many applications also as a school instrument due to its good record for reliability and ease of maintenance. Constructed from ebonite throughout, the JP021 has a full dark sound and has been complimented for its good intonation and free blowing nature. With a clear objective of supporting new players, the JP021 Bb Clarinet includes two tuning barrels to help inexperienced players stay in tune and also an adjustable thumb rest for greater comfort.
The JP021 Bb Clarinet features hard-wearing nickel plated keywork for durability and an accurate tuning scale for better performance. The instrument has been developed closely alongside schools and UK music services to ensure a long lasting and robust instrument, perfect for new players and school students.
The JP021 is supplied with everything required to get a player started including a lightweight case, JP 'Easy Blow' mouthpiece, mouthpiece cap, ligature and reed. The case is lightweight, well-designed and attractively styled with eye catching colours and a reflective safety strap. A comfortable shoulder strap is included as standard. The case also includes a small storage pocket accessible for the outside of the case. This enables players to store small accessories and sheet music with their instrument.
