Launched in 2010, the Pearl PFP-165 piccolo features a Grenadilla wooden headjoint and high quality synthetic "Omni" pads. The advantage of Omnipads compared to regular fish skin pads is that they are impervious to moisture and these durable synthetic pads also produce a rich sound.
In line with the entire Pearl Flutes range, the PFP-165 is manufactured with Pearl's world-renowned Pinless Mechanism and are the only piccolos on the market to feature this innovation.
The PFP-165E also includes French pointed key work, a split E-Mechanism and High-Wave headjoint.
