King 2B Liberty Cleveland Valve Trombone (2nd Hand)

This wonderful King Valve trombone was manufactured in the 1960’s, the heyday of King musical instrument manufacturing. Originally known as the H.N. White Company, when manufacturing was carried out in Cleveland.
This very trombone was owned and played by the great Britt Woodman. He was 1st call for the Ellington band in the 1950’s, and in demand throughout the US, having played with all the greats of this period, Mingus, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fidgerald, Cultrane, Miles Davis, to name but a few.
We are giving away a Britt Woodman album (picture attached), with the trombone as there is a real connection. The album was produced by Robin Sinclair, and he was the previous owner of the valve trombone – I know, I met with him last week and bought it from him, as part of his very interesting collection!
The trombone has a lovely dark sound, and an incredible smooth feel to it. Be quick and buy a piece of history!
